There are several ways to get to Whistler by air.

Vancouver International Airport

Most destination visitors arrive to Whistler via Vancouver International Airport. "YVR" is located in the southern part of Vancouver on the Pacific Ocean. Getting to and from YVR is easy with a variety of transportation options.

All of the major international airlines fly in and out of Vancouver International Airport including Air Canada, WestJet, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Japan Airlines, Korea Air, Lufthansa Airlines, Qantas Airways, US Airways and United Airlines.

YVR is an approximate a 2-hour drive from Whistler. Complete transfer service is available via limo, bus, taxi or rental cars.

Abbotsford International Airport

Abbotsford International Airport is located east of Vancouver in the Fraser Valley. The airport serves over a half million visitors yearly. Major airlines including WestJet, Orca Airways and Transat Holidays utilize this full service airport.

Abbotsford airport is an approximate 2.5 hour drive from Whistler. Transfer services to and from Whistler are readily available.

Other Air Options

Whistler Air, Whistler HeliJet and Pemberton Airport (located just north of Whistler) also provide air transportation options to Whistler.
